After the intense holiday season, January and February have found me in full-on hibernation mode. Full disclosure: I haven’t even put all the Christmas decorations away. We still have the Christmas village set up in the guest room. And due to the lack of overnight guests (plus my general malaise), I have not found it to be absolutely necessary to box everything up. But in spite of today’s snowfall (!) and the intense cold, I know Spring is just around the corner. I am thinking of seed-starting and seed-choosing, and can see past the two wreaths still hanging up (oh the shame of it!) and into the future, when the warmth will return.
