The weather is insanely beautiful right now. Still, I feel a little melancholy. I used to love Fall but now…it doesn’t offer quite the allure that it once did. Maybe because I am in the Autumn of my life, so every day is Fall in my world. Things are fading that will never return, the specter of winter looms, etc., etc.
Enough of that. Looking ahead, we are excited about our Harvest Fest weekend, coming up on November 6th & 7th. We’ll have a barn dance, storytelling, live music, tons of seasonal treats, a barn market on Saturday, and other fun hallmarks of the season.
In the meantime, I plan on enjoying the beautiful weather by harvesting all that is left of our vegetables and flowers. There is still a sense of abundance — faded or not. Maybe I should take this approach to my own life.
Abundance exists, even in Autumn.
