At Rock Run House, our goal is to host events with a purpose, whether it be cultural, historical, seasonal, and communal.
Follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter to learn about our upcoming events throughout the year.
We use the setting of our barn, house, and gardens to bring people together for basic, timeless experiences that are meaningful in their simplicity. Our events range from an evening spent telling stories to barn dances to tea parties to immersing yourself in an Old World Christmas.
Reservations for any and all of our events and workshops can be made through our online shop.

Past Events
Music for a Winter Afternoon Event
Chamber music, along with selected poems, filled the living room of Rock Run House on a crisp winter afternoon. It was a lovely, old-fashioned way to experience live music in an intimate setting . Many thanks to our young musicians who provided the program.

Songs & Stories Event
We held an event for storytellers and story-enjoyers alike. Live music, harvest treats, and spontaneous storytelling were all a part of the evening, both inside the barn and by a roaring fire.

Spring Tea & Garden Party
We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon in May, drinking herbal tea (lemon balm and raspberry leaves) and a selection of botanically-themed treats. Attendees discussed gardening, foraging, growing, and propagating in the gentle, historic setting of Rock Run House’s garden and stone porch.

Old World Christmas
Carolers, gingerbread, hand-crafted decor…Christmas at Rock Run features elements of both German and English traditions. We hope a visit to Rock Run House during the holiday season will become part of your tradition as well.
